Schedule/Hours:

6:00AM•4:30

PM Qualifications/Experience:

Active RN license required At least one year of recent experience in a CVOR setting BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Thorough understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures, equipment, and sterile technique Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes clinical situations

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams Prepare and maintain CVOR equipment and instruments Monitor patient status and communicate any changes or critical findings to the appropriate team members Document all care, medications, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and organizational safety guidelines Offer patient and family education and emotional support as needed
