Clinical Nurse III - Clinical Resources - ( 2600034W ) Description The Clinical Resources Registered Nurse provides advanced professional nursing care across multiple inpatient and procedural care environments within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The Clinical Resources Registered Nurse supports high-acuity, complex patient care by maintaining advanced clinical proficiency and the ability to practice independently across diverse service lines. The role functions under the supervision of nursing leadership and in alignment with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies governing trauma and tertiary care delivery. Essential Functions Provides direct nursing care to patients across the lifespan, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, as assigned. Performs comprehensive and focused assessments, recognizing and responding to complex and rapidly evolving clinical conditions. Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care consistent with patient acuity and trauma care standards. Accurately documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care in high-acuity and specialty environments. Responds effectively to emergent and trauma-related clinical situations, prioritizing patient safety and outcomes. Maintains compliance with infection prevention standards, OSHA bloodborne pathogen requirements, and organizational safety policies. Demonstrates operational flexibility by supporting staffing needs across multiple clinical areas within the Clinical Resources Float Team. Qualifications Nursing license issued by FL DOH or Compact State BLS and ACLS Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in an acute care clinical division required . Experience in high-acuity, critical care, emergency, or trauma-designated clinical setting.
