A Cardiology Registered Nurse provides care for patients with heart problems. Performs cardiac tests and assessments, educates patients and families about cardiac disease and preventative health care, and cares for patients after heart surgery. Works with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment. Trained to provide emergency medical care to cardiac patients. Works under the supervision of a physician. Works in hospital cardiology or intensive care units or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

Job Description
Overview Under the direction of the unit director, utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
Qualifications Education:
- Diploma/Associates Degree Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Florida Registered Nurse License
- BLS•
ACLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand
