Beginning August 10th, this full-time position places you at the heart of student health and well-being while collaborating with educators and families. Qualifications and Experience:

Current RN license in Florida and in good standing Prior experience as a school nurse or working with students preferred Strong assessment and triage skills Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills Knowledge of state and federal requirements for student health and wellness Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable professional demeanor

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care and manage health plans for students from K-12 Conduct routine health screenings and respond to medical emergencies Administer prescribed medications and document all interventions Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student needs Maintain accurate and confidential health records Promote wellness initiatives and educate students and staff about healthy practices Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide health insights
