Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Director of Nursing Home Health to lead and oversee the home health services. This pivotal role involves managing nursing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining exceptional patient care standards across assisted living, hospice, and home health settings. Your leadership will drive quality improvement initiatives, foster a positive team culture, and ensure all care delivery aligns with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff, home health agencies, and hospice programs. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive care plans tailored to patients' individual needs while ensuring compliance with regulations and Medicare requirements. Oversee documentation review, medical records management, and ensure accurate coding and billing in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Ensure adherence to resident's rights, HIPAA privacy standards, and regulatory compliance by regularly auditing clinical practices and documentation. Manage staffing schedules, shift management, and resource allocation to maintain optimal patient care delivery while supervising clinical teams effectively. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practices in physiology, anatomy, memory care, and medical terminology. Stay current on changes in Medicare policies, and industry best practices to maintain accreditation standards. Skills Proven leadership experience managing nursing teams within assisted living, long-term care facilities, or home health agencies. Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance standards including HIPAA, Medicare guidelines. Strong background in nursing administration with a focus on patient care quality improvement initiatives. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation review, medical records management, and billing processes. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate staff while fostering a collaborative team environment. Deep understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, memory care strategies, and hospice care principles. Effective shift management skills ensuring consistent high-quality patient care across all hours of operation.
