As an experienced RN
  • CVOR, you'll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nursing staff to ensure outstanding patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures.
This contract opportunity demands technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an RN in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting BLS and ACLS certifications required Advanced knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and sterile technique Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with electronic medical records and CVOR-specific equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surgical suites and equipment for cardiovascular procedures, maintaining strict aseptic protocols Assist surgeons intraoperatively, anticipating needs and ensuring patient safety throughout each procedure Monitor patient status, including vital signs and anesthesia responses during surgery Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, medications, and patient information Deliver pre
