Schedule/Hours:
Dependent upon facility needs; options may include day, evening, or rotating shifts
Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing care Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced surgical settings Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to maintain a safe and sterile operating environment Prepare patients for surgery and closely monitor their condition throughout procedures Implement evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and regulatory standards Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
