Job Description
Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00AM Experience:
- 24 months of experience with 2 years within the last 48 months (4 years).
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
- Travel experience is required.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Uses Meditech. Telemetry-capable unit; nurses do not read strips. CNA ratio 12:1. Hospitalist in house 24/7. No IV team; may consult PICC team if needed. Respiratory therapy available 24/7. Common patient populations include CHF, COPD, ESRD, pneumonia, renal failure, sickle cell crisis, orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery, altered mental status, and sepsis.Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend required. Holidays as required. 14 days maximum time off 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months Driver's license required for submissionCertifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
