Job Description

Role Overview:
The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized care plans while collaborating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards. Deliver culturally sensitive, relationship-based care tailored to patient-specific needs. Partner with patients and significant others through effective communication and education. Ensure documentation of care is timely, accurate, and promotes safety and quality outcomes. Coordinate care across the continuum, supporting performance improvement and patient safety initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development and workforce sustainability. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research activities, and support organizational policies and standards. Plan resource utilization efficiently and develop protocols to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required upon hire. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proficiency in technology and basic computer skills. Ability to respond effectively in fast-paced environments with excellent time management and critical thinking skills.
