Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Step into a critical role as a Registered Nurse in the Catheterization Laboratory, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes in a dynamic clinical environment. This opportunity is designed for a nurse proficient in cardiac care procedures and catheterization techniques, ready to provide exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures Monitoring patient vital signs and responses throughout procedures Preparing the Cath Lab for scheduled cases, ensuring sterilization and proper equipment functionality Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care before, during, and after procedures Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Providing patient education and support to patients and families regarding procedures and recovery
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, with certification or experience in Cath Lab nursing preferred Strong familiarity with cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and common cardiac procedures Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining meticulous attention to detail Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, physicians, and the healthcare team Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification highly desirable
