Requirements & Qualifications:
Current, active RN license At least one year of recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings Ability to assess, monitor, and care for patients with acute medical needs Proficiency with cardiac drips, telemetry, and advanced monitoring equipment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities BLS and ACLS certifications requiredKey Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients transitioning from intensive care Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform accurate patient assessments Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care Maintain precise documentation of care, changes in condition, and interventions Respond promptly to changes in patients' status and initiate appropriate actions Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and hospital policies This contract role offers an opportunity to gain additional experience working with diverse patient populations in a supportive, highly skilled team environment.
