This role is designed for an RN or LPN who is passionate about providing one-on-one care and is comfortable navigating complex needs in a school setting. Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted GA RN or LPN license required Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred Confident in handling delicate situations with compassion and discretion Capable and willing to assist a wheelchair-bound student, including toileting support Knowledge of protocols for managing seizure activity Able to communicate effectively, even with students who have limited verbal communication Must be able and comfortable to ride the school bus with the student for both pick-up and drop-off Skilled at working independently and collaborating with school staff as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized care and supervision for a student with medical needs during school hours and bus transportation Monitor and respond promptly to seizure activity, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Support the students daily activities, such as toileting and mobility assistance Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided Foster a safe, trusting, and respectful relationship with the student and school personnel

Role Details:
