Gifted Healthcare seeks a Travel Operating Room RN for assignments in Cumming, GA. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality perioperative care, circulating and/or scrubbing for diverse surgical procedures while upholding strict safety and infection-control standards. You'll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR team to monitor patients, maintain a sterile field, and ensure accurate documentation. Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative support Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical procedures following facility protocols Monitor patient status, vital signs, and responses to anesthesia and interventions Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR team to ensure safe, efficient procedures Maintain a sterile field, manage instruments, and ensure proper counts and documentation Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the medical record Adapt quickly to new OR environments and workflows as a travel nurse assignment Required Skills Operating room nursing Perioperative care Scrub and circulate skills Surgical instrumentation management Patient monitoring and assessment Infection control and sterile technique Electronic medical record documentation ACLS protocols BLS/CPR for healthcare providers Travel nursing adaptability
