2 Description American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN - Mother Baby/Newborn Nursery with a GA or compact license and at least 2 years of nursery experience including sick baby care. Details Perinatal unit with 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, and 5 PP/WHS rooms, including 2 NICU beds within the nursery Approximately 80-90 births per month 12-hour night shift schedule Requires working every other weekend or every weekend Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards May be required to float to Mother Baby unit No floating to other units required No charge nurse responsibilities Uses Centricity for charting and Paragon for medication administration Requirements Active GA RN license or compact license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years of Nursery experience required Experience caring for sick babies required Additional Information No on-call requirements for this position
