Responsibilities The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

72 hours per pay period 36 hours/week Shift Times (Rotate between) :- 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- 7:15 AM - 4:45 PM
- 4 days per week (9hour shifts) Regular Schedule
- Self-scheduling period: 6-week scheduling cycleo Schedule Submitted by staff o Finalized at least 4 weeks ahead
- Staffing balance goal: o 8 RNs per weekday shift, 1 Call RN overnight (14 hours)o 1 Call RN on each weekend day (24hours)
Call Requirements Response Time:
Must be able to report within 1 hour when called in.Call Rotation:
- 3 weekday call shifts o Monday-Friday o 5pm-630amo 14-hour overnight call windows
- 1 weekend call shift o Either Saturday or Sunday o 6:30 AM - 6:30 AM next day o 24-hour call window Holiday Call
- Required to take: o 2 holiday call shifts per calendar year o Each is 24 hours Qualifications
