Shift:

6:45 PM - 7:15

AM Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 24 months (2 years). Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission). Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted. Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted. Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted. Required Skills/Experience:

Must have been continuously working in this specialty for the past 24 months, with no breaks in employment over 30 consecutive days.

Unit Details:

Very fast-paced unit. The unit discharges 8-15 patients daily and admits about the same number. Patients may be admitted from the ED, PACU, or as direct admits. An ADT (admission, discharge, transfer) nurse assists with patient flow.

Shift & Scheduling:

Variable night schedule. No call. Must work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, plus 1 minor holiday out of the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve. You should be expected to work 1 minor holiday out of these 3: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
