• Job Description:

• We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN/PRN) to provide safe, patient-centered care for individuals with complex medical needs, including gunshot-related injuries and wheelchair dependence. The RN will support patients with ongoing clinical care, mobility needs, and coordination of services.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and individualized patient care.

Monitor and manage patients with gunshot-related injuries and other complex medical conditions. Assist with care planning for wheelchair-dependent patients, including mobility and skin-integrity needs. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Monitor vital signs, symptoms, wounds, and changes in condition; promptly report concerns. Perform wound care and other nursing procedures within scope of practice. Educate patients and caregivers on medications, safety, mobility, and disease management. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and follow emergency protocols.

• Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Georgia recent TB test results Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is a plus.

Pediatric nursing experience preferred. Prior experience with complex medical, trauma, wound, or rehabilitation patients preferred. Experience caring for wheelchair-dependent patients preferred. Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills. Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently.
