Job Description
Position SummaryWe are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe perioperative care and support surgical teams before, during, and after procedures.
Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for surgical procedures and perform preoperative assessments. Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures. Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment. Ensure surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are available. Maintain accurate perioperative documentation. Provide postoperative care and appropriate patient handoff. Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program. Current, active RN license. BLS certification. Previous OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
