Administer and store student medications in accordance with school system guidelines and applicable policies. Assist with health-related screenings including scoliosis, hearing, vision, and dental examinations. Perform skilled nursing care procedures such as catheterizations and tube feedings for students with special health needs. reporting. Requirements Required ! Valid Georgia LPN Certificate (Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of Georgia). ! Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate. ! High School Diploma or GED. ! Valid Driver's License. ! Acknowledgment and compliance with the Griffin Spalding Employee Handbook. ! Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding student health information and records. ! Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Preferred Prior experience working as a school nurse or in a pediatric/community health setting. Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes or school health management systems (e.g., PaddyNet). Experience supporting students with chronic conditions such as diabetes, seizure disorders, or other special health needs. RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
