9677809-30815 Job Description Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Registered Nurse supporting students health needs within an elementary school environment. This position is ideal for a RN who thrives in a pediatric or school-based setting and is passionate about making a direct impact on the daily lives of children with critical and complex health concerns. This is an on-site, full-time role running from ASAP through May 28, 2027, with hours from 8:10 AM to 4:10 PM each school day. The caseload is manageable, focusing on individualized care for 510 students with medically fragile backgrounds.

What were seeking:

A current and unrestricted Georgia RN license Active CPR/BLS certification Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing strongly preferred Proven ability supporting students with critical, complex, and medically fragile health needs Competence with G-tube feedings, care for trach-dependent students, and suctioning Experience in seizure/epilepsy monitoring considered a plus Availability for the entirety of the contract Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with school staff, families, and healthcare providers Reliable transportation to ensure punctual on-site presence Role details: Deliver daily nursing care for students, including medication administration and emergency interventions Perform specialized procedures such as G-tube feedings, trach care, and suctioning as needed Closely monitor and respond to seizure/epilepsy activity Document and communicate care provided while upholding confidentiality and best nursing practices Serve as an advocate and resource for students, ensuring their safety and well-being For RNs ready to provide essential care while working in a supportive educational environment, this is an excellent opportunity.
