Step into a vital role supporting students as a school-based Registered Nurse in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, on-site contract position covers the school year through late May 2027. Youll make a daily impact by providing comprehensive medical care for a small caseload of 510 students with critical, complex, and medically fragile needs. The position is located at Lewiston Elementary School in Evans, GA, with hours from 8:10 AM to 4:10 PM. Use your nursing expertise in collaboration with educators, families, and medical providers to promote student health and safety. Responsibilities include G-tube feedings, care for trach-dependent students, suctioning, seizure and epilepsy monitoring, medication administration, and individualized student-specific interventions. Your compassionate care will help ensure students are supported, safe, and ready for learning throughout the school day.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Georgia RN license (required) CPR/BLS certification (required) Experience with pediatric or school-based nursing preferred Prior work supporting medically fragile, critical or complex-student populations Skills in G-tube feeding, trach care and suctioning highly valued Experience with seizure/epilepsy management is a plus Must be available for the full-time schedule; on-site only Ability to collaborate professionally with educators, families, and care teams
