JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum level of

Education :

Education level equivalent to completion of an associate degree in nursing.

Formal Training :

Clinical competence in nursing preferred.

Licensure, Certifications & Registration:

Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia; BLS Provider certification required. Instructor certifications do not replace provider certification requirements.

Work Experience:

Basic technical nursing skills. Experience in chart auditing. Experience in interpreting federal and state regulations and accreditation standards governing patient medical necessity and continuity. Basic typing and computer skills.
