Responsibilities- Provide direct care to critically ill and high-acuity patients.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Titrate IV medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intensive nursing care.
- Interpret and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Monitor arterial lines and central venous pressure (CVP) lines.
- Care for patients requiring invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
- Perform ventilation monitoring and assessments every two hours.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Requirements
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Previous ICU, Step-Down, PCU, or Trauma Nursing experience.
- Strong critical care background.
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current PALS Certification.
