A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Qualifications RN License Full Job Description Job Title:
RN Assessor — Client Assessments (Cornerstone Caregiving)
Shift Type:
PRN / per-visit (as-needed), not a fixed shift schedule — visits are scheduled around client availability and referral volume.
Hours:
Flexible; RN accepts individual visit assignments rather than working set blocks. Each assessment runs approximately 1 hour on-site, plus documentation time.
Job Description:
Travel to clients' homes (or facility, if applicable) to conduct initial or periodic nursing assessments. Evaluate client's physical condition, care needs, cognitive status, fall risk, medication management, and home safety. Complete all required assessment documentation accurately and thoroughly. Submit completed paperwork/records within 24 hours of the visit. Communicate findings to the care coordination team to inform the client's care plan. Maintain compliance with state nursing practice standards and Cornerstone's documentation requirements.
Pay Structure:
Paid per completed visit/assessment (flat rate per visit — amount to be determined).
Payment is contingent on:
(1) documentation submitted within 24 hours of the visit, and (2) documentation completed correctly/in full. Late or incomplete submissions may delay or forfeit payment for that visit.
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license in Georgia. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes within the greater Alpharetta region. Experience with geriatric, home health, or in-home assessments preferred. Strong documentation and time-management skills, given the 24-hour submission requirement.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Operating Director for assignment scheduling and quality review of submitted assessments.
