About the Role As a Weekday On-Call RN , you'll be an essential source of comfort and support for hospice patients and their families during the evening and overnight hours. This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM. You'll provide responsive, compassionate nursing care while helping patients and families feel supported, informed, and cared for when they need it most. We're looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, solutions-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence. Whether working directly with patients, supporting operations, or partnering across departments, you'll have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways while continuing to grow your career. 🌙 What You'll Do 🩺 Provide Compassionate Clinical Care Provide hands-on nursing care based on physician orders. Respond to urgent patient and family needs during your on-call hours. Provide calm, expert care and reassurance during evening and overnight hours. Help ensure patients receive consistent, high-quality hospice care. 💙 Educate & Support Patients and Families Provide education and emotional support related to end-of-life care, disease progression, self-care, and nutrition. Answer questions and provide reassurance to patients and their loved ones. Serve as a trusted source of support during challenging moments. 🤝 Collaborate with Your Hospice Team Collaborate with the full hospice team to ensure consistency and quality of care. Communicate patient needs and changes appropriately with the care team. Support continuity of care throughout your on-call window. Required Qualifications Current Georgia RN license. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance. Strong communication skills and clinical competence. Commitment to the hospice philosophy. Preferred Qualifications At least two years of clinical nursing experience. Hospice or home health experience.
