Job Description

Registered Nurse Led by a highly skilled team of anesthesiology and pain management doctors, The Nexus Pain Center in Columbus, LaGrange, Newnan, Stockbridge and Griffin Georgia, is a preeminent pain clinic providing their patients with innovative medical solutions and cutting-edge technologies. The Nexus Pain Center offers spinal-focused interventional pain management using the Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulator and Stryker Radiofrequency tools, as well as nonsurgical options for pain and nonopioid medical therapies for those over the age of 18. These specialists pride themselves on their ability to give their patients the best care and service. We are looking for a responsible and motivated Registered Nurse to work at our LaGrange clinic. Applicants must be able to work quickly and accurately with our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) programs. Eclinical charting experience is a plus.
License/Certification:
RN License (Required) BLS Certification (Required) ACLS Certification (Preferred) Primary roles of this position include: Patient care including pre-operative and post-operative assessments for office-based procedures Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the back-office clinical team to ensure high quality patient outcomes Supply ordering for procedural and clinical needs Pre- and post-operative patient calls for perioperative care Liaise for patient calls including prescription related issues and pain complaints to help serve as a triage mechanism Assist with enforcing policies, procedures, and dedicated safety parameters Administer pain medications via various routes, i.e. intravenous or intramuscular Monitor patient receiving conscious sedation Recover patients after receiving sedation Review medical records Assist physicians with invasive pain management procedures Highly recommended skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions Ability to develop and maintain good patient relationships Ability to work in fast paced environment where you will be on your feet for 8 hours Ability to work with multiple physicians Competitive compensation and benefits package.
