EMIC Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for a wonderful pediatric client. 24 hours per week October 1, 2026 This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys building a genuine relationship with a child and family while providing consistent, attentive care in a comfortable home environment.

Pediatric Registered Nurse Schedule:

Daytime hours beginning around 9:00

AM Weekend Requirement:

One weekend per month

Night Shift Requirement:

One night shift per month

Setting:

Private family home About the Child You will be caring for a sweet and adorable child who weighs approximately 20 pounds. The ideal nurse must be comfortable with the physical demands of caring for a young child, including safely carrying the child up and down stairs when needed. Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive nursing care throughout the daytime shift Build a trusting and positive relationship with the child and family Assist with the child's daily care and routines Accompany the child to a medical appointment approximately one day per week Communicate appropriately with the family and EMIC clinical team Complete required nursing documentation Follow the child's individualized plan of care Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment Provide dependable coverage and communicate schedule changes appropriately Ideal Candidate We are looking for an RN who is: Compassionate and patient Comfortable working closely with a family in their home Comfortable caring for a 20 pound child Physically able to safely carry the child up and down stairs Dependable and punctual Comfortable with daytime hours beginning around 9:00 AM Flexible enough to work one weekend and one night shift each month Comfortable accompanying the child to appointments Professional, respectful, and family oriented Experienced in pediatric nursing or passionate about working with children Why Join EMIC?
