Job Overview:

ShineSun Provider Placement Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home skilled nursing care for a young adult client in Powder Springs, Georgia. The client is 20 years old, wheelchair-bound, and diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. The family is seeking a caring and reliable nurse to assist with daily living support, monitoring, and ongoing care needs in the home setting. This position offers approximately 8 skilled nursing hours weekly, along with two (2) bi-weekly supervisory visits each month. We are looking for a nurse who is professional, patient-focused, dependable, and comfortable working independently while providing quality care in a supportive home environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care in the home Monitor and document the client's condition during each shift Follow the physician's plan of care Assist with daily care needs and ongoing assessments Communicate professionally with caregivers and agency staff Complete accurate and timely documentation Participate in bi-weekly supervisory visits

Requirements:

Active Georgia RN or LPN license Current CPR certification Home health experience preferred Experience with Cerebral Palsy or special needs clients preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable transportation Ability to work independently and professionally Pass national background check Possible federal fingerprinting requirement (GCHEXS) Negative TB test/documentation required Valid driver's license Social Security card copy required

Schedule:

Approximately 8 hours weekly.

Preferred Schedule:

Monday:

5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (4 hours)

Wednesday:

5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (4 hours)

Alternative Schedule Options:

Four (4) days per week at 2-hour shifts One (1) 8-hour shift on Saturday One (1) 8-hour shift on Sunday The family is flexible and willing to work with the nurse's availability to create a schedule that best meets everyone's needs while maintaining the authorized weekly hours.

Additional Compensation:
