Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Other Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) settings. This contract position requires a dedicated nursing professional who is committed to exceptional patient care and ready to bring their clinical skills to a dynamic environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Demonstrated experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) or complex medical-surgical settings Strong skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and care planning Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes Competence in monitoring, documentation, and safe medication administration Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Experience working with electronic medical records systems
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring extended inpatient treatment due to chronic illness or complex recovery needs Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs Develop and revise individualized care plans based on patient progress Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and high-quality care delivery Support physicians and allied health staff in diagnostic and treatment procedures Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
