Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-NICU Job Type Travel Step into a vital nursing role where your expertise in neonatal intensive care can make a true impact. This contract opportunity is focused on providing specialized care to newborns in a high-acuity environment. As an RN with experience in the NICU, your critical thinking and compassionate approach will ensure top-tier care for vulnerable infants and support for their families.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid RN license with no restrictions At least one year of recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU Current BLS and NRP certifications required Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong assessment, monitoring, and intervention skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-sustaining equipment Partner with neonatologists and respiratory therapists to develop individualized care plans Support families through education and emotional reassurance Adhere strictly to infection control policies and safety procedures Accurately document patient progress and treatment interventions
