Responsibilities:
Administer nursing care to patients in the perioperative setting Establish patient treatment plans Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or status Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Educate patients about health maintenance and post-op care Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family membersQualifications:
Current GA nursing licenseBLS/ACLS/PALS
Previous perioperative nursing experience with adult and pediatric patients Familiarity with medical equipment Ability to build rapport with patients and parents Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment Company Description South Atlanta Ambulatory Surgical Center is licensed by the State of Georgia, accredited by Joint Commission, and was established by clinical personnel to offer safe, high-quality ear, nose, and throat surgical care. You will find the newest technology in computer image-guided sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, and coblation technology for tonsillectomy. Everything in the center is carefully hand-selected for specialty work in ear, nose and throat. The 6 board-certified otolaryngology doctors who perform surgery have over 150 years combined experience caring for patients with an ear, nose and throat disorder.
