Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum one year of recent Med-Surg nursing experience, preferably in a hospital environment BLS certification required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse adult patient populations on a Med-Surg unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to therapies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans and ensure quality care Administer medications and perform interventions according to physician orders and established protocols Educate patients and families on health management, post-discharge care, and recovery processes Participate in clinical rounds, contribute to care planning discussions, and advocate for patient needs
