Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract Experienced registered nurses are sought for an engaging role providing care in stepdown and progressive care unit (PCU) settings. Key Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year recent experience in stepdown or PCU environments BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment abilities Knowledge of advanced cardiac monitoring and supportive technology Excellent communication and documentation skills Proven adaptability and reliability in high-acuity settings

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients requiring close observation and advanced interventions Perform comprehensive assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient status Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create, update, and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate life support and monitoring equipment according to protocols Educate patients and families regarding condition, treatments, and post-discharge planning Diligently document care activities, observations, and interventions in the EMR system Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols This position provides an opportunity to make a direct impact in a dynamic clinical environment, supporting patients as they transition from intensive to routine care.
