Job Description

Director of Nursing (RN) - Hospice Services Make a Difference Where It Matters Most Are you a compassionate, proactive, and collaborative nursing leader ready to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our hospice care team. This is more than a job—it's a calling to provide exceptional care to patients and families during life's most meaningful moments.
What You'll Do:
Lead and coordinate hospice services for patients and families. Supervise interdisciplinary team members (nurses, social workers, chaplains, etc.). Oversee admissions, care planning, and compliance with state/federal regulations. Ensure quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Serve as a clinical and community liaison for hospice education and outreach.
What You Bring:
Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice. 1+ years of field hospice experience. 1+ years of leadership experience (preferred). Strong clinical skills and understanding of Hospice and Palliative Care. Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and CPR certification. Experience in hospice, home health, med/surg, or oncology is a plus. Why Join PruittHealth Hospice?
