Manage complex medical equipment such as ventilators, feeding tubes, and monitors while ensuring aseptic techniques and infection control standards are maintained. Educate families and caregivers on medication management, device usage, emergency procedures, and overall health maintenance. Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and adjust individualized care plans aligned with best practices and regulatory standards. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA and medical documentation protocols. Respond promptly to triage calls or urgent situations, providing critical guidance on acute pain management or emergency responses in the home setting. Requirements Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice. Proven experience working with children in settings such as home care, hospital medicine, or pediatric clinics. Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, developmental disabilities, neonatal resuscitation procedures, and infection control practices. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (Axis Care) for efficient documentation. Ability to perform technical skills including IV insertion, phlebotomy, suturing, catheterization, and sterile technique. Critical care experience preferred, especially ICU or PICU experience, demonstrating competence in acute care scenarios.
