1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel contract requiring 18 months of L&D experience and a GA or compact RN license. Details Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week 30-minute meal break included per shift No on-call requirements Uses Meditech charting system Required to float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, based on department needs Requirements Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand Minimum of 18 months of Labor & Delivery experience required IV insertion skills required BLS (AHA) certification required to start NRP certification required to start Fetal monitoring competency required to start ACLS certification preferred Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients within the L&D unit Interview process includes an interview with the nurse manager Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted Former Emory or Houston employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed First-time travelers are welcome to apply
