Job Description

Looking for an easy PRN opportunity that fits your schedule? EMIC Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for a wonderful pediatric client.
Position Details Schedule:
PRN - 1 day per week
Hours:
8-hour shift
Setting:
One-on-one care in the client's home Responsibilities Seizure monitoring and observation Medication administration Feeding assistance (per care plan) Documentation of care provided Communicate any changes in condition to the clinical team Provide skilled nursing care for a medically fragile infant in accordance with the plan of care. Monitor vital signs and assess for any changes in the child's condition, intervening as necessary. Assist with daily activities, including repositioning, range of motion exercises, and developmental support. Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments, treatments, and interventions. Educate and support family members on care techniques and emergency procedures. Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members Accurately monitor and track clients' overall health and medical history during every visit Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. Verify clients are taking the correct dosages of medications Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises Remain on-call for clients who have healthcare emergencies Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed
Qualifications:
Active RN license in Georgia Pediatric experience preferred -• experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care required•. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills . CPR certification Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently while coordinating with the child's healthcare team.
Nurse Requirements:
mid-level to senior nurse preferred. Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification Current RN license in GA Current TB test Ability to work independently and with directions. Exceptional customer service skills Compassionate and friendly demeanor

$46.00 - $51.00 per hour
