Varied 8-hour shifts; days, evenings, and nights; weekends, holidays, and OT rotation may be required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years About the Role We are seeking experienced Long Term Care Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract opportunity in Honokaa, HI. This role supports residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting through assessments, treatments, medication administration, care coordination, and daily nursing support. Responsibilities Perform resident assessments, treatments, and routine nursing care Administer medications and monitor resident responses Notify MD/NP of pertinent changes in resident condition Support admissions, discharges, and care plan implementation Assist with ADLs and resident-centered daily care needs Provide gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP support Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility care standards Requirements Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license required by start of assignment Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply upon offer acceptance
BLS/BCLS
required Minimum 2 years of Long Term Care nursing experience required Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and OT rotation as needed No guaranteed hours or shift preference Must arrive the Thursday before start for Friday employee health appointment Bring your long-term care experience and compassionate nursing approach to a role where residents depend on your clinical skill, patience, and steady support.
