Experience:
OB and Med Surg experience preferred About the Role We are hiring an Obstetrics Registered Nurse to support labor and delivery, postpartum, recovery, and Med Surg patient care. This role requires flexibility, as nurses will float to the Med Surg floor when there are no obstetric patients. Responsibilities Provide nursing care for labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery patients. Float to the Med Surg unit as needed based on patient census. Assess patient needs and deliver safe, high-quality nursing care. Monitor maternal and newborn status and respond appropriately to changes. Collaborate with providers and care teams to support patient outcomes. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in EPIC. Requirements Active Registered Nurse license required.
BLS/BCLS
certification required. ACLS certification required. PALS certification required. NRP certification required. OB, labor and delivery, postpartum, recovery, or Med Surg experience preferred. Ability to work night shifts and every third weekend. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills required.
