PRN Registered Nurse - Cedar Rapids / Iowa City Region Join a team built on relationships, trust, and a shared passion for helping people maintain their dignity and independence at home. Village Caregiving is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support veterans and other clients throughout the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in self‐directed work , communicates clearly, and values meaningful one‐on‐one client interaction. As a PRN nurse, you will be performing in‐home safety evaluations , developing individualized care plans to direct our caregivers, and completing basic physical assessments to ensure each client receives safe, personalized support. What You'll Do In‐home assessments — Evaluate client needs, review medications, observe the home environment, and identify safety considerations. Safety evaluations — Ensure clients can remain safely and comfortably in their homes. Develop individualized care plans that guide caregivers in providing relationship‐centered, best‐practice support. Admit new clients as referrals come in. Support veterans and other clients receiving home‐based services. Complete 90‐day reassessments to maintain continuity, safety, and quality of care. Communicate proactively with caregivers, clients, families, and office staff. What Makes This Role a Great Fit You excel in independent, self‐managed scheduling .
