Job Description

This position is eligible for a $3,000 recruitment bonus.
Note:
Current state employees are not eligible for recruitment payments upon transfer, demotion, or promotion to another agency - Registered Nurse duties in a correctional facility performs professional nursing role similar to outpatient services in the community. - Registered nurses participate in the management of the nursing care of patients within a health care environment; provide clinical leadership and assist practitioners; plans and conducts educational sessions, including teaching that requires a registered nursing license; administers medication, triage patient complaints and coordinates the care of residents in a correctional environment with multi-disciplinary team which includes physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, optometrists & dentists E-Verify and Right to Work The State of Iowa participates in E-Verify, a federal program that helps employers confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees.
