1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation night shift position requiring an IA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience. Details Work in a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital unit Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury Unit has 20 beds Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 36 guaranteed weekly hours Every other weekend required No on-call requirements No floating required Uses Epic EHR Requirements Active IA or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Child and Adult Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required 6 months of acute, rehab, or long-term care experience preferred but not required Basic computer knowledge and strong verbal and written communication skills in English required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration AHA certifications required Additional Information Provide intensive, patient-focused rehabilitation nursing care as part of a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program Must be a cooperative team player with a strong desire to collaborate with the care team Navy scrubs required Report time is 6am or 6pm on first day Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
