Earn a $2,500 monthly stipend while you finish the last 6 months of your RN education. MercyOne will reimburse your board and licensure fees. Once you have your licensure, start your career with MercyOne (18-month retention requirement). Working as a PRN Student Nurse Tech during the program is optional Step into a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with our Neuro Trauma Acute Care Unit and help transform the future of neurological care! As our primary stroke unit, proudly recognized with The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Thrombectomy‑Capable Stroke Center Certification, you'll be part of a team delivering some of the most advanced stroke and neurology care in the region. From acute stroke interventions to complex surgical neurology cases, you'll work with cutting‑edge technology, remote telemetry and a tight‑knit interdisciplinary team that thrives on collaboration and excellence. You'll also partner with MercyOne Ruan Neurology Care , central Iowa's largest and longest‑running comprehensive neurology clinic. Their experts use the newest research, innovative technologies and active clinical trials to create individualized treatment plans for conditions affecting the brain, spine and nerves. With seamless collaboration across Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation , Neurosurgery , and Pediatric Neurology , our patients receive coordinated, world‑class care at every stage. Our dedicated neuroscience nurse educators ensure every patient and family feels supported through one‑on‑one guidance and education. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Candidates in the Jumpstart program is not required to work during stipend period- this is financial support only during last semester of school. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health's Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be in the final semester of school in eligible position. Must pass boards within 6 months of graduation. Must sign the Program Agreement and return before any payments are processed.
