JOB TITLE
Registered Nurse
JOB SUMMARY
As a Registered Nurse, you are responsible for coordinating home health care services for residents, conducting initial assessments and ongoing reassessments for both prospective and current residents, and supervising as well as delegating tasks to staff who provide personal care. You will also lead training sessions for Universal Workers to ensure all state requirements are met, and maintain resident records in compliance with state regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Helping/assisting with scheduling/maintaining of the Universal Workers. Training each new employee, thoroughly, in his/her duties and in the Policies and Procedures, as they relate to their position. Assure that appropriate medical information is relayed between shifts. Review and follow up on incident reports/post fall reports. Be responsible for notifying the doctor and family of any health concerns. Be responsible for having MAR prepared, accurately, monthly and as needed. Delegate and document tasks according to the Task Delegation Decision Sheet and the Nurse Practice Act. Completion of initial, subsequent, and COC assessments and service plans for all current and prospective tenants as required by company policies and DIA. Be a team player and perform various other duties as may be requested by the DON/Manager. Uphold confidentiality and Health Insurance and Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations. Comply with all state regulations as they apply to assisted living certification. Comply with all the Program's policies (Policy and Procedures, Tenant Handbook & Employee Handbook). Fill in for staff, when needed.
