Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care and support the delivery of primary healthcare services in a clinic setting. Assess patient needs, collect health histories, and develop care plans within scope of licensure. Administer medications and perform clinical procedures, including IV therapy and urinary catheter placement, as permitted by licensure. Conduct telephone triage, evaluate patient concerns, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care using established protocols. Document patient assessments, care, and communications accurately within the electronic health record (EHR). Collaborate with providers, specialists, and ancillary services to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Monitor test results and patient status, taking appropriate actions and communicating findings within scope of practice. Support and guide clinical team members through delegation, oversight, and adherence to clinical standards. Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, privacy, and organizational policies while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications Education:

Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nurses. License(s)/Certification(s): Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa for Registered Nurse. Mandatory Reporter certification CPR certification.

Meets educational/competency requirements per policy. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work as a team member. Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures. Strong computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred.
