Job Description

Overview Shift:
Full-Time; Monday-Friday schedule with a set schedule of 4 days per week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Join our team as a Pain Clinic Nurse and make a meaningful impact in patients' lives. In this role, you will support providers in delivering high-quality care, prepare patients for visits, coordinate medications and testing, and provide education and support. Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Prepare patient and assist provider with examinations, treatment and minor surgical procedures. Assists in the delivery of services and patient care. Responsible for obtaining medical histories, preparation and administration of injections, collection and preparation of specimens and performing office laboratory procedures. Schedule referral appointments and distribute patient educational information as directed by provider. Participate in multidisciplinary care model.
Qualifications Education:
Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must possess and maintain ACLS •Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
