Job Description
No nights, weekends, holidays or call! Competitive Salary and Benefits. 2-3 years experience preferred. We are seeking dependable, reliable, competent nurses who desire to work as part of a team to provide high quality care to patients in a fast-paced surgical setting. This role involves rotating between PreOp & PostOp. There is also potential to work in PACU, Endoscopy, or OR, dependent upon individual skillset. Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances are essential in this position.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
has a high school education and/or has an equivalent. Graduate of an accredited nursing school, with two years related experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current nursing license valid in the State of Iowa. Has obtained or will obtain within 3 months of employment CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as physician orders, laboratory results, safety rules, operating and technical instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak/read/write fluently in English.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
