1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 36 or 48 hour weekly schedule, requiring active IA or compact RN licensure and at least one year of ER experience. Details Emergency Department setting at facilities ranging from Level 1 to Level 4 trauma centers Uses Epic EMR Scheduled for 36 or 48 hours per week Requirements Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required at time of consideration BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (AHA) Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required Driver's license required for consideration Skills checklist completed within 1 year required One supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within 2 years of employment required RN candidates submitting to Illinois must also hold an active Iowa RN license or provide proof of application for an Iowa single-state or compact license during compliance Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate Required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving) Limited to 1 day off request during 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 regardless of holidays worked
