This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys building relationships, educating and empowering young adults, and providing compassionate, student-centered care. We are looking for someone who brings warmth, good judgement, imitative and a genuine interest in working with college students, someone who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their work while also valuing collaboration with our wellness team and across campus. The Campus Nurse provides direct nursing care, health education, medical referrals, immunizations, and other routine student health services while helping oversee the clinical operations of our small on-campus clinic, including CLIA-waived laboratory testing and related compliance. The position is a 10-month, benefits-eligible appointment (August 1 - May 31), with a 36-hour work week and summers off. A valid Iowa RN license and BLS certification are required. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and experience with direct patient care, point-of-care testing, or caring for adolescent and young adult populations in a clinic setting. If you are a caring, self-motivated nurse who enjoys helping students and educating them to navigate their own health and well-being, we would love to hear from you.
