Job Description:
Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations in the
Obstetrics Unit:
Adolescent and Adult Females, Neonates. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations in the
Peds & Swing Unit:
Neonates, I nfant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, and Adult Medical/Surgical, including inpatient and outpatient.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Prefer bachelors degree in nursing or other related field. Hospital based nursing Health care experience within the last five years preferred. Labor & Delivery, & Newborn care experience preferred. Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration. Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa. Prefer certification in areas of Maternal Child Nursing.
